I’m Tina Harstad and founded Yoga With TinaH in 2022. I offer classes and private sessions for individuals & small groups.
I’m a 200RYT through Yoga Alliance with specialty training in Yin/Restorative Yoga, Yoga for Athletes, as well as being a certified group fitness instructor through A.C.E. Fitness, and certified in CPR, AED, and basic 1st aid through The American Red Cross. Additionally, I’m a certified Level 2 Warriors At Ease Trauma Informed & Adaptive Yoga Teacher. My Warriors At Ease Training taught me specific techniques for teaching to those that have experienced physical and emotional traumas that are common in the military. These techniques can be applied to teaching yoga to anyone who has survived a trauma.
I‘ve personally experienced physical and emotional trauma in a rollover car accident in 2010. I have chronic pain from injuries to my low back and neck. My yoga journey started in chair yoga at the recommendation of a physical therapist. Over the course of 2 years I worked my way from the chair to doing yoga on the mat with the help of pose variations & props. I also discovered the wonderful calming effects of yoga. A consistent yoga practice keeps me flexible, strong, less stressed, able to perform daily tasks, and keeps my pain at a lower and more tolerable level.
Through the use of pose variations and props, everyone can do some form of yoga! My passion is introducing people to the healing benefits of yoga and helping them start their own journey to whole being health and wellness.
