Meet Tina Harstad
I’m Tina Harstad, founder of Yoga With TinaH LLC, established in 2022 to create inclusive, healing-centered yoga experiences for individuals and small groups. I offer a variety of classes and private sessions tailored to meet you where you are—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I’m a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance and currently pursuing my 500-Hour RYT certification to deepen my expertise. My specialty training includes:
• Yin & Restorative Yoga
• Yoga for Athletes
• Trauma-Informed & Adaptive Yoga (Certified Level 2 Warriors At Ease Teacher)
• Group Fitness Instruction (Certified through A.C.E. Fitness)
• CPR, AED & Basic First Aid (Certified by the American Red Cross)
My Warriors At Ease training equips me with trauma-sensitive techniques originally designed for military populations—but these practices are beneficial for anyone navigating physical or emotional trauma.
My Personal Journey
In 2010, I survived a rollover car accident that left me with chronic pain in my lower back and neck. At the recommendation of a physical therapist, I began my yoga journey with chair yoga. Over two years, I gradually transitioned to mat-based practice using pose variations and props.
Today, a consistent yoga practice helps me stay flexible, strong, and grounded. It reduces stress, supports daily function, and keeps my pain at a manageable level.
My Mission
I believe that everyone can do some form of yoga. Through thoughtful use of props and modifications, yoga becomes accessible to all bodies and all backgrounds. My passion is helping others discover the healing power of yoga and begin their own journey toward whole-being health and wellness.
